I am an independent native-English writer and editorial consultant, based in Switzerland but global by experience. On behalf of big brands, industry leaders and consultancies, I find creative, considered solutions that stand out and work in context.

As a former strategic planner who held client-facing roles at leading communications agencies – in New York, Paris, Vienna and Zurich – I get a quick read on complex issues. As a trained interviewer, I ask the right questions. As a published writer, I find the heart of the story.

Apart from hands-on learning, I have received additional training in qualitative research techniques, music journalism and writing as a craft. My short fiction, essays and offbeat profiles have appeared in acclaimed literary and culture magazines published in the UK and US.

What all this means is that I have developed an acute sense of how and why language works – or doesn’t – and a passion for working with words.

Note about AI: At this time, I do not use large language models or generative AI in the writing process, from brainstorming and outlining all the way to drafting, crafting and revising. AI may power some of the tools I use for initial research and fact-checking purposes, as well as more basic language checks (i.e. online dictionaries, thesauruses and translation services).
