I am an independent native-English writer and editorial consultant, based in Switzerland but global by experience. On behalf of industry leaders, big brands and consultancies, I find creative, considered solutions for diverse editorial needs.  

As a former strategic planner who held client-facing roles at leading communications agencies – in New York, Paris, Vienna and Zurich – I know how to listen and get a quick read on complex issues. I also know how to make editorial recommendations that work in context, and in the right voice for the audience.  

Apart from hands-on learning, I have received additional training in qualitative research techniques, music journalism and writing as a craft. My short fiction, essays and offbeat profiles have appeared in acclaimed arts magazines and journals published in the UK and US.

What all this means is that I have developed an acute sense of how and why language works – or doesn’t – and a passion for working with words.
